These bridge reamers have a straight shank with a safety collar that prevents the reamer from going too deep into the workpiece during reaming operations. They install into a compatible power tool and are used to enlarge, debur, and finish holes in structural materials. Also known as alignment reamers, these reamers have tapered flutes that ease the tool's entry into rough-cut or misaligned holes.
