Right-hand spiral-flute taper pin reamers pull chips out of a hole as they enlarge, finish, or shape it for a precise fit when installing taper pins into the hole. This helps prevent damage to the reamer and the workpiece. They are used for reaming blind holes and are suitable for reaming applications with interrupted cuts. Taper pin reamers have a 1/4" taper to the foot. These reamers are operated with a machine such as a drill press, lathe, or screw machine.
