These standard keyseat milling cutters have carbide steel cutting edges that provide excellent wear resistance and heat resistance and retain their hardness better than high-speed steel or cobalt steel cutting edges. The body of the cutter is made from a material that provides more flexibility and shock absorption than carbide during machining tasks. These keyseat milling cutters have straight teeth and leave a finer finish on the workpiece than staggered-tooth milling cutters. They have a straight shank that mounts to a milling machine.
