These standard keyseat milling cutters have carbide-tipped steel cutting edges that provide excellent wear resistance, heat resistance, and retain their hardness better than high-speed steel or cobalt steel cutting edges. The body of the cutters provide more flexibility and shock absorption than solid carbide during machining tasks. Their staggered, angled teeth allow them to operate faster and cut through material more easily than milling cutters with straight teeth. They have a straight shank that mounts to a milling machine.
