These standard keyseat milling cutters are made from high-speed steel and offer good wear resistance for general purpose milling applications. They're more flexible and can absorb more shock and vibration than cobalt or solid carbide keyseat milling cutters. They have staggered teeth that allow them to remove more material and operate at higher speeds than straight-tooth milling cutters. The cutters have a straight shank that mounts to a milling machine.
