The WXS coating on these end mills protects them from wear and provides maximum heat resistance when milling nickel-based alloys and hardened steels with a Rockwell hardness of more than 50 HRC. It is harder and has a higher oxidation temperature than a TiAlN coating. Roughing/finishing end mills remove large amounts of material and create a smooth finish on the workpiece at the same time. Miniature end mills have a small diameter and provide high precision and control over material removal during detailed milling applications.
